Liberty Safe interiors

Liberty Safe trim levels, explained

Your trim level sets what is inside the safe: the fabric and panels that line it, how the shelving is laid out, and whether you can add interior accessories later. It does not change your exterior color, your lock, your steel, or your fire rating. Those come from the model you choose.

What a trim level controls

Trim is an interior decision, not a security decision

Every trim level on a given model shares the same body, the same door, the same lock options, and the same fire rating. Picking Standard is not picking a lesser safe. You are choosing how the inside is finished and organized.

Trim level changes

  • Interior fabric and color
  • Door panel and back panel finish
  • Shelving layout
  • Whether interior accessories can be added
  • Exterior logo treatment

Trim level does not change

  • Exterior paint color or finish family
  • Lock type
  • Steel thickness and body construction
  • Fire rating
  • Size or long gun capacity

The three levels

Standard, Pro Flex, and Premium Signature

Colonial comes in Standard and Pro Flex. Franklin, Lincoln, and Presidential add Premium Signature. Whichever level you choose, your exterior color is a separate choice and you get the full color range.

1

Standard

The familiar flex interior, built around long gun capacity. Your shelving configuration is set by the model you choose.

Best for owners who mostly store long guns and do not plan to add interior accessories.

  • Single-tone velour interior, beige or silver, set by your color choice
  • Premium door panel and back panel
  • Flex shelving set by model: Colonial is 3-in-1 Flex, Colonial 50 is 6-in-1 Flex, and Franklin, Lincoln, and Presidential are 4-in-1 Flex
  • Standard Liberty logo and scroll work on the exterior
  • Full exterior color range: gloss, marble, and textured
  • Does not accept the ABC accessory system
2

Pro Flex

The redesigned Pro-Flex 2.0 interior with standardized A-B-C spacing, so every shelf and accessory has a set place. The interior material matches Standard. What changes is the shelving layout and the ability to add accessories.

Best for owners who want the option to add a jewelry box, document box, or watch winder, now or later.

  • Single-tone velour interior, the same material used in Standard
  • Premium door panel and back panel
  • Pro-Flex 2.0 shelving with standardized A-B-C spacing
  • Accepts the ABC accessory system: jewelry box, document box, and watch winder
  • Standard Liberty logo and scroll work on the exterior
  • Full exterior color range: gloss, marble, and textured
  • Available on Colonial and above
3

Premium Signature

Everything in Pro Flex, finished in premium materials, with a different exterior logo treatment.

Best for owners who want the leather interior, the stitched panels, and the cleaner exterior look.

  • Two-tone Diamond / PVC faux leather interior in black and gray
  • Diamond-stitched door panel and back panel
  • Pro-Flex 2.0 shelving with A-B-C spacing, the same layout as Pro Flex
  • Accepts the ABC accessory system
  • Minimal logo and updated scroll work on the exterior, in place of the standard logo
  • Full exterior color range, plus two-tone paint on Lincoln and Presidential
  • Available on Franklin, Lincoln, and Presidential

By model

Which levels each model offers

Trim levels are offered on Colonial and larger safes. Smaller lines keep their standard interior.

Exterior color

Your color is a separate choice

Trim level and exterior color are two different decisions, and one does not limit the other. Every trim level on every model is offered in the full single-tone range, which covers three finish families: gloss, marble, and textured.

Premium Signature does not narrow your colors

It is offered in the same full single-tone range as Standard and Pro Flex. Hardware finish pairs with paint color the same way at every trim level.

Two-tone is an addition, not a replacement

Lincoln and Presidential Premium Signature add four two-tone colorways alongside every single-tone color: Feathered Burgundy, Feathered Blue, Feathered Champagne, and Feathered Gray. Two-tone pairs with Black trim hardware. Franklin stays single-tone at every level.

How Pro Flex is organized

The ABC accessory system

Pro Flex and Premium Signature interiors use three set mounting positions inside the door. Every accessory is built to one of them, so there is no guessing about fit.

A

Left position

Position A sits on the left side of the door.

B

Center position

Position B sits in the center of the door.

C

Right position

Position C sits on the right side of the door.

Accessories that mount to these positions include the jewelry box, document box, and watch winder. Standard interiors do not accept them, so if you think you may want accessories later, Pro Flex keeps that door open.

Deciding

Which trim level fits how you will use it

All three levels share the same body, lock options, and fire rating. The question is how you plan to use the inside.

  • Level 1

    Choose Standard

If you mostly store long guns and do not plan to add interior accessories. This is the flex layout Liberty owners have used for years, and it comes in every exterior color.

  • Level 2

    Choose Pro Flex

If you want to add a jewelry box, document box, or watch winder, either now or down the road. The interior material matches Standard. What you are paying for is the zoned layout and accessory compatibility.

  • Level 3

    Choose Premium Signature

If you want the two-tone leather interior, the diamond-stitched panels, and the minimal exterior logo. Available on Franklin, Lincoln, and Presidential. On Lincoln and Presidential it also opens up the two-tone paint colorways, alongside every single-tone color.

Quick answers

Trim level questions we hear most

Does the trim level change the fire rating or the steel?

No. Fire rating, steel thickness, locking bars, and the lock itself come from the model. Every trim level on the same model protects the same way.

Can I pick my interior fabric separately?

No. Fabric is set by the trim level. Standard and Pro Flex are velour, with beige or silver determined by your exterior color choice. Premium Signature is black and gray Diamond / PVC faux leather. Colonial uses Trunkliner at both of its levels.

Can I add the ABC accessories to a Standard interior later?

No. The ABC mounting positions are part of the Pro-Flex 2.0 interior, which Standard does not have. If accessories are a maybe, choose Pro Flex now.

Is two-tone paint only on Premium Signature?

Yes, and only on Lincoln and Presidential. It pairs with Black trim hardware. Franklin Premium Signature is single-tone, and every Premium Signature safe can still be ordered in any single-tone color.
