Weighing in at 1045 lbs. the Rawhide 49T is one of the heaviest safes you'll find at this price point. It accomplishes this by utilizing a heavier 11 gauge steel body, which takes over 4 times the energy to bend when compared to a 14 gauge steel body and is also nearly 1.5 times stronger than a typical 12 gauge body. Combine this with 14 1" solid steel locking bolts and a 90 minute fire rating at 1680° you have one of the best values in the industry.
